El Pelican Club ofrece una amplia selección de platillos de Nueva Orleans y cuenta con 3 salones comedor y una amplia barra inspirada en las casas del siglo XIX del Barrio Francés. Este establecimieno está situado en la esquina de Bienville Street y Exchange Place, en pleno Barrio Francés. El propietario, Richard Hughes, y su esposa, Jean-Hughes Stinnett, han transformado una joya arquitectónica abandonada en un restaurante acogedor con una decoración que combina elementos tradicionales y contemporáneos. Cada salón tiene su propio ambiente, creado a partir de elementos tan diversos como ciprés de Louisiana pulido, pinturas contemporáneas de artistas de Nueva Orleans, grabados antiguos y bancas de cuero negro que crean un gran contrastes con las paredes de ladrillo de color crema.     Cuidado con la cuenta . Me sentí estafado pues me quisieron cobrar el vino 14 dólares más de lo que estaba en lista y habiendo pedido el menú a precio fijo quisieron cobrarme el precio por cada plato por separado. No recomiendo ese lugar para clientes de buena fe

    Hats are not allowed at the dinner table. Will order all food for the table all at once. “Unable to accommodate parties larger then 6” (in an almost empty space). Plan ahead, cancel standing reservation if party size changes.

    Always an incredible experience. The crispy fish is exceptional. The price fix menu is the best value in NOLA!

    We had the duck and fish entrees, and both were flavorful and well-prepared. The atmosphere was cozy, and the food felt thoughtfully done. Service started off slow though. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed despite having just a few tables. He was friendly, but for the price, the experience should’ve been more polished. Good food, but the service needs to catch up.

    Food and service were great. Our only complaint was that the chef insists you order your full meal all at once. We were just having a bottle of wine and appetizers so we would have preferred to order as we chose. This is always one of my pet peeves in restaurants. I can understand if they are busy, but the restaurant was half empty.

    Terrific evening at The Pelican Club! Great food and wonderful service. Don't let the name "Club" deter you; everyone is welcoming and everyone is welcome! Our fish dishes were fabulous and don't miss the seared scallops. If you love New Orleans sauces, this is your new favorite destination. We highly recommend you book The Pelican Club for a lovely meal or your special occasion!

    The food and the service were excellent! The only down side of the evening was a table of 8 seated across the room. They were very, very loud. Laughing, raised voices, etc. I thought it was very rude of them not to consider the other guests dining in the same area.

    Very much appreciated that The Pelican Club would receive reservation for one and not automatically offer a table in the bar section. I opted for a three course prix fixe menu and found it to be a great value. The scallops served as an appetizer were very tender and fresh, and the sautéed gulf fish was excellent.
