   Though this is a beautiful spot, the food was awful, especially the veal and salmon. The entertainment was very good..

   Our visit to the Purple Room was as close to perfect as a night out can be. The food was excellent, the service was swift, accurate, and welcoming, and the entertainment was fresh, immaculate, and enthralling. We started with cocktails; he had a “Play It Again Sam” and I went with a classic Sapphire Martini with their house stuffed blue cheese olives. His was the essence of tiki and mine was straight up 1950’s in a glass. Perfect. We both had salads, Caesar for him and Chopped wedge for me. Both very good, mine would be improved with summer tomatoes rather than winter, but we can’t change the seasons. For main, we each had the prime rib special with perhaps the tenderest prime rib I’ve ever had, asparagus cooked to the perfect crunch, and mashed potatoes. A glass of the Educated Guess Cab each - full of ripe fruits, full bodied - a great pairing to the luscious beef. Dessert was the Basque cheesecake for me and the lemon tart for him. They were both exquisite offerings of their namesakes. And what can one say of Jérémie Levi Samson? His rendition of “La Vie en Rose” was complex, beautiful, and a revelation. One could not hold still for his entire set, the music he made with the band was infectious and mesmerizing, the entire room was under his spell. Thank you for a great memory and the PERFECT night out in Palm Springs!

   It was a fabulous, fabulous, fabulous experience! Food was delicious, the menu was varied, and the jazz group was phenomenal. A perfect evening!

   The sole was delicious, as was the molten chocolate cake. The French crooner and his musicians were terrific.

   Michael Holmes and crew continue to provide the ultimate, top-level experience in the supper club of a fabulous and glamorous era. The kitchen performs flawlessly with a wait staff that seems to anticipate every possible need.  it’s almost like in a Time Machine as we love to kick back and enjoy dinner and entertainment in a wonderful environment. We shall continue to return many times. 😎👍💪🙏

   What a fabulous evening! The customer service was great—from the friendly hostess who greeted us to our helpful waitress Brianna (what a smile) and everyone in between, the vibe was fantastic. We all enjoyed our meals but the best part of all was the entertainment. Michael, Darci and the musicians were incredible. Thanks for a wonderful night out. Your Saugatuck fans—Sam, Lori, Dan, and Sarah

   It was super fun as far as music and ambiance. The food was not great and very expensive but we were glad we went. We loved singing along to the Rat Pack songs.
