Tucked away under an ancient Banyan tree, the vibrant, Caribbean-inspired cottages that make up the Macaw will transport you to a secret oasis.

Art & Music with Frank Corso-RESCHEDULED

A special concert presentation the evening of February 24th from 6:30 to 9:30 PM at the Real Macaw Restaurant on Bayshore Dr, Naples, Florida. Frank will present an intimate glimpse into his lifelong journey of melding visual and performing arts. There will be a curated selection of his original paintings on display as he discusses the nuances of his life immersed in the arts. He will be performing some old country blues, ragtime and original music on Guitar, National steel guitar and Banjo, while sharing stories about the origins of the music, the musicians and its very interesting history and how it has influenced todays popular music. His award winning paintings grace some of the most prestigious homes, institutions and corporations worldwide, and has had over 25 one man shows in prestigious Galleries and is the recipient of many awards including the Grumbacher Gold medal, along with feature articles in many national art magazines and publications. In music, he has shared the stage with many national acts including Taj Mahal, Dan Hicks and the Hot Licks, Brownie McGhee and Sonny Terry, J Geils Band, Dave Von Ronk, John Mooney, Richard Smith, John Hammond, Doc Watson, John Hartford and many others. He has recorded 6 CD's, the last two of which were recorded in Nashville with Richard Smith at Tunesmith Studios, and has been a guest artist on many others. He has performed nationwide and as far afield as Tuscany, Italy.

Food was delicious, sauces superb. Service great. We were there on a rainy cool evening, so the weather was not great for Naples. Enjoy, a great place especially with good Naples weather.

They were very accommodating to get our group inside. My elderly parents were with us and we worried it would be too cold to sit outside. The food was very good and our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. We were a little disappointed in the service as, as far as checking in and clearing away plates. Overall, it’s still one of favorite places to eat!

Service and everyone was excellent, as always. This is one of our favorite restaurants. However, they had a bad night. We had the sword fish which was very fishy and probably 2 weeks in the freezer. The portion was very small - about 2" X2", and the sauce was lacking. All for $47. We'll come back, but not for a while.

It was way too loud. Service was slow. I had a gift certificate and was not allowed to use it for my tip. Very disapointed. Would not return because of the noise level and slow service.

The host was welcoming, the service was excellent, the food outstanding and we had a birthday at our table, which was handled very nicely. We are full expecting to return for an other dining experience.
