    The food and service were great. We got the mussels and were pleased at the authentic taste. Just note that the bar and dining area are next to each other so it was very loud and difficult to hear our conversation.

    We checked this out because it was on my list of places. Turns out it was restaurant week so we essentially got a 3 course meal for $40 per person. Great way to try a bunch of different things on the menu. All of which was fantastic.

    The mushroom risotto from the restaurant week menu was not good at all. The mushroom thing was especially tough.

    The Sovereign has been a neighborhood gem since day 1 and continues to deliver a delightful experience. Not just for its consistently excellent service, warm ambience, and outstanding Belgian fare; it's also impressive that while they could easily rely only on Best in DC microbrew selections (that staff is skilled and happy to help you select), their cocktail and wine lists shine also. I appreciated the Restaurant Week options this year in part for reminding me to save room for dessert! I can't wait to return and will continue to bring new people with me to share the magic of The Sovereign.

    Food was good but not great. Staff was very friendly and attentive even on a very busy night. Would go back for ambiance.

    Nice restaurant in the heart of Georgetown. Nice atmosphere, beautiful decor. Food was good. The only thing appetizers were extremely small and bread was served on big plate but only three small toasts with very little butter on a side. Overall good place to dine.

    The beer selection was incredible. We had the rabbit and the chicken and it was great. The location is a little secluded but they did a great job turning it into a cozy bar and restaurant.

    Mike was fantastic, and so was the busser who’s name I did not get, very quick and effective. Beer suggestions were amazing, which Mike is solely responsible for. The one thing that I would suggest as it stuck out to me was the blue linen cart in the front, it was way too close to the door and was very noticeable, as well as near Wisconsin ave there is a stack of boxes that was sort of an eye sore. Nevertheless, great expirence, great food, and last but certainly not least great service by Mike and the Busser.

    Food was great. Huge Belgian beer list - absolute heaven!! Come for the great food - stay for the incredible beers! Or, come for the incredible beers - stay for the great food!
