Turn 12 Bar and Grill waved the green flag on October 1, 2013. The modern and sporty decor surround a spectacular 50 foot custom zinc bar top with tire tread inlay. Vintage motorcycles, historic racing artwork, and multiple televisions capture your attention upon entering. With a menu that serves a little of everything, from steaks and pasta, to pizza, burgers and salads Turn 12 is a casual American Bar and Grill with something for everyone.

The name Turn 12 is related to the famous Laguna Seca Raceway that has 11 turns and meant to invite guests to visit us at the corner of Tyler and Franklin as the last turn of the day.

Un buen restaurante de comida americana. Pedimos hamburguesas bien preparadas y ricas. La camarera fue amable y servicial. El té muy pequeño, se agradecería una taza más grande o algo de agua caliente extra. Bien de precio.

First, the good. We were greeted warmly and seated quickly. The food was very good. The restaurant was very clean and has a great motif. It is within easy walking distance from the Monterey Convention center. Initially, we were the only customers in a side area of the restaurant. A bit later, more customers did get seated near us. Now, the bad….. Our Server (1003 Kristie) was rude and condescending. Whether it was asking for clarification on the bathrooms locations, or asking for a split check (2 checks) on a party of 4, she seemed rushed, bothered and surly. We asked for a split check due to one of our party having to provide a single, itemized receipt to his employer for reimbursement of their meal. At first she said no, the restaurant does not split checks. After an explanation of the requirements for the employer, she relented but spoke to us in an even more belittling and/or condescending tone. The people in our party all felt as if we had been scolded and it made for a poor experience.

We had wine and appetizer of flat bread pizza it was amazing !! Our dinner was the Turn 12 sandwich and it’s my favorite one there . It came with hot truffle fries, everything was great! Our server was very attentive and friendly along with the busboy who kept refilling our water . We live Turn 12 especially before a show at the Golden State theater. Ray and Kelly

I have always loved this restaurant for dinner. This was my first brunch, and nothing was good. I am hoping it was a fluke!

Had a 5:30 reservations, on time! Great attentive service in the dining room. Our apps and mains were served when requested.( we wanted to wait between plates. ) Cocktails were good also. Nice to go out with friends lately where food, service and ambience all Play together nicely…
