Since 2009 Verde on Smith has been downtown Brooklyn’s neighborhood eatery featuring Italian cuisine complemented by friendly service and warm ambiance.

We are a casual, and romantic neighborhood Italian Restaurant serving Italian COMFORT food with a balance of fresh traditional dishes and unique chef-prepared specialties. We focus on attentive service in a cozy and relaxing setting -- we intend to give you the attention and precision you deserve without the formality of a downtown restaurant. We call it hospitality!

Our menu is characterized by fresh, simple, but flavorful ingredients – the essence of Italian cuisine specializing in fresh & delicious Italian seafood, pasta, appetizers, and tasty desserts. Paired with local brews, signature cocktails, and a wide selection of wine, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Food and drinks were good. Not sure how I would categorize the crowd; it looked young online but I would say it's quite mature in person and gives very Epcot -italy vibes.

There was a problem with seating, I waited even after arriving on time for my reservation. Once seated I was able to order and the food was fantastic. Worth the wait

Verde never disappoints me. I enjoy myself every time I go. The food is always delicious. The expresso martini is the best I’ve ever had.

Been here for brunch many times but 1st time for dinner. Decent flavorful meal … nice filling portions. Very nice staff. Calamari a bit undercooked and the the chocolate molten cake had no molten. Music kept skipping… but overall a nice place to have a tasty meal.

Kind and efficient service, nice atmosphere. Very nice stake, but the pasta dishes were quite bland.

Sadly disappointed. Mixed on the food, some good, others bad (worst gnocchi ever). Front of the house environment would’ve been better than the back.

I made reservations at Verse on Smith for a group of 10 to have a birthday dinner for my mother. The menu had plenty of choices for each one of us, which is one of the reasons why I chose this restaurant. The food was so delicious, and the drinks were great! My margarita was amazing!! My mother loved her eggplant parm. The kids devoured their food. My steak with chimi sauce and risotto was sooo good, my husband kept eyeing me for an extra taste. Overall, everything was tasty. And they even sang Happy Birthday to my mom, which we all joined in and appreciated. The staff were polite and very attentive. They even called me back to let me know that someone in my party left a phone behind. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

I had reservations and my party was seated right away. The service was great. Everyone was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating but not overbearing. The food was delicious and not overpriced. The drinks were delicious as well. I would definitely recommend and return.
