   Nice selection of entrees, we enjoyed everything we had for breakfast and dinner on 2 days. Food was delicious, appetizing, and well prepared.

   We have been here in years past for breakfast. The dinner experience was better than expected. We would be happy to return anytime.

   We enjoyed excellent food...and we all ordered different dishes. The noise level was very good so we could have a nice conversation. The waitress was helpful and informative. We will be back.

   Food was great. Expertly prepared and delicious! Unfortunately, what appeared to be a large work group gathered at the bar and the noise level was so loud you literally had to yell at the person next to you to communicate. Acoustics and layout really not set up to handle a gathering like that which really turned what would have been a good experience into a tough one. Waitress and service were great, however.

   It was a casual restaurant, sports on the TVs (no sound) nicely decorated. The service was excellent. The meals we had were good. The crafted cocktails were delicious as well. A bit pricey for the portions but we expected that being on site at the biltmore.

   Our server Allen was first class. He was kind and knowledgable about the menu. Allen came around at all the right times and kept the evening moving well. We enjoyed fried green tomatoes with pimiento cheese; the meatloaf dinner and ham and bean soup. Butter pecan ice cream was the ice cream of the day and it was more than enough to share.

    Village Social’s appetizer game is strong - the Estate-grown Cornbread was well-executed, and the Beets & Burrata dish was most satisfying. True, it’d be difficult to mess up a beet-Burrata pairing, but to the chef’s credit the ingredients were not overwrought, and the natural flavors and textures shone stunningly. The restaurant’s vegetarian entree options continue to underwhelm. The lone offering, the Winter Risotto, sounded a bit tired and maybe a little sad. Adequately full after my appetizers, I took a pass on another course; it’s difficult to justify $28 on what amounts to a fancy plate of rice. Service was fabulous as always.
