Villaggio del Vino is Tyler's modern Italian bistro. We offer a very comprehensive menu of traditional and nouveau Italian dishes with distinctive and delicious appetizers, salads and, of course, pasta entrees. We also offer a lunch menu and a Saturday brunch. Join us for our weekday happy hour, Martini Tuesday and Wine Down Wednesday.

One of our most unusual features is our wood-fired brick oven pizza, made in Italy and installed on site by skilled artisans. Cooked at 900 degrees, our homemade pizza crust is crisp, light and absolutely delicious.

We have two indoor dining areas with a hip, West Coast-style ambiance, as well as two outdoor patio dining areas. Our atmosphere will make you feel like you're far from home, even though you're right here in Tyler.

The crab cake benedict was absolutely stellar. Our entire party ordered it, all very clean plates returned.

Food was great. Service very slow with only about 50% of the tables occupied. Dessert ordered was “out”. Coffee arrived so cold the sugar wouldn’t melt in it. Table was touched more times by manager than server

We went here with best intentions, but it was clear we were over our skis in regards to expectations. They are kind of stuck between doing a bang up job on italian, and pricing product for the masses. Food was meh - butternut squash ravioli and chicken piccata are kind of go to dishes, but these seemed as though they took them out of a fridge, microwaved or baked them, and served. Kind of shocked to be honest.

Our food was outstanding. My husband and I ordered the Bruschetta to start. It was delicious and full of flavor. The bread was perfectly toasted and it was topped with the perfect amount of tomato, garlic, and olive oil. I had Lasagna as my main course. It was very flavorful and filling, so much so that I had to take half home for lunch the next day. My husband had the Flame-Grilled Burger. He described it as "very good", which for him means it must have been to die for. His fries were amazing, I stole a few for myself. For dessert, we split the Chocolate Nutella Cheesecake. The strawberries on top really brought the whole meal together. My husband enjoyed the Stella Artois, while I joyfully sipped my Strawberry Mojito. Our service was outstanding. The waiter, Christian, made sure to check up on us often enough to get everything we needed, without being overbearing and annoying. The food came out in a timely manner. Our glasses were filled promptly as needed. While the prices seemed high at first, after visiting the restaurant and tasting the food, I believe they could charge more and still keep their business flowing. Overall, I really enjoyed dining here and would definitely visit again. I truly recommend this place for anyone who wants a nice night out.

I was super excited to try out Villaggio de Vino with my partner for our anniversary, I had even booked the reservation in advance. When we arrived however there was a massive party happening inside and although we could have requested to be seated outside, instead we decided other wise which was a fault on our part. The server was great! However the food had little to no flavor and just not a great value for what we got. Where we were seated, we were by a window, we noticed that whomever ate before us had stored their trash on the window which was pretty disgusting. I don’t doubt that the reason for lacking service was due to this big party which the servers handed wonderfully btw, it’s just a shame me and my partner weren’t even able to talk due to how loud it was and how much sound traveled. We’re going to give it another chance in the summer since they seem to fit a summer menu better, with the salads and drinks being most appetizing.
