El Zin American Bistro es un intento de modernizar y americanizar el concepto bistro francés tradicional. El Zin ha ganado recientemente el premio al Mejor de Palm Springs y ha sido descrito como "posiblemente la mejor comida en el Valle de Coachella" por el escritor Peter Osbaldeston del Palm Springs Dining Bible. El chef Nicolas Klontz y el director de vinos Mindy Reed han elevado el nivel de la comida elegante e informal en Palms Springs. El Zin tiene más de 450 vinos en su carta y ha ganado el Premio a la Excelencia de la revista Wine Spectator por 9 años. Portion size good. Food was very fresh and well prepared. Charge extra for bread rolls if you want them. Take reservations - nice on busy days.

To start, our waiter Chip was amazing. Such a great personality and helpful. I had the fish of the day - red rainbow trout - HUGE - so glad I shared it. It came out flaming hot and perfect. Other couples had the short rib and steak frites - no complaints. We tried their dessert of the day, but not our favorite. A take on a Dubai chocolate… next time, the brownie! Make a reservation

Excellent place to bring out of town guests or just sit at the bar and enjoy a fantastic drink & meal. The Zin Bites as an appetizer were wonderful! We had the lamb chops and the braised short ribs as our entrees, and they couldn't have been better. Delicious. It's also a great place to people watch!

Staff was excellent. Ambiance was nice. Food was fine: trout was good and risotto excellent. Chicken was Ok, but potatoes over salted. Prices good for PS Even though we requested main dining room and there empty tables there throughout our dinner (and staff was not busy), they said they had to seat us in the bar area, and other three tables in the bar area remained empty. Need to improve their reservation system

Lunch was a nice experience! Great food, I had the soup special and a tuna melt which was perfectly cooked but not dry. Fun watching people stroll by!
